Hey, if you've scrolled this far, we're basically friends now. I'm MJD, a designer based in Beirut.

I make brands, prints, and pixels that feel like they mean something: logos, packaging, book layouts, Shopify stores, UI/UX. Honestly, if it can be designed, I've probably tried it at least once.

My path here wasn't exactly a straight line. I've been drawing since I was a kid, but design became real during covid, when I enrolled in college for it. Around the same time, I got obsessed with pixel art and put out my own NFT collection which somehow turned into people asking me to design collections for them, then logos, then full brand identities. One thing kept leading to the next.

These days I split my time between design and finishing a computer engineering degree, which honestly makes me a better designer; I care as much about how something works as how it looks. A few things I'm proud of: building the brand identity for LebThree, a Lebanese crypto community, and laying out four math textbooks front to back, every figure, every table, every equation triple-checked so nothing got lost in translation. I've also worked on branding and prints, startups, and independent brands around Beirut.

When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me exploring new tools, because staying curious is half the job.
